企業贊助藝術的先鋒-專訪雷諾藝術收藏品的策展人:安•涵卓瑞(Ann Hindry)

在企業贊助藝術文化蔚為風潮之前許久,雷諾於1967年就開始贊助藝術,合作的藝術家包括今天業已享譽藝壇的羅柏·端諾(Robert Doisneau)、阿曼(Arman)、唐格里(Tinguely)、華撒雷利(Vasarely)等。安•涵卓瑞是出色的雷諾收藏品的策展人,她在本篇專訪中談到雷諾贊助藝術的獨特手法、當時面臨的挑戰以及它在今日的延續,也談到企業贊助藝術在法國的特有狀態。

Pioneer of Corporate Patronage-Interview with Ann Hindry, Curator of the Art Collection of Renault


‘Renault enjoys a unique position: that of pioneer. Its collection was constituted before any other and before the fashion of corporate patronage.Also, it built its collection not by purchasing existent works on the market but by helping the artist create new ones, in total freedom.’

Long before corporate patronage for arts and culture became a fashion, Renault has begun to build its collection as early as 1967. Artists who have collaborated with Renault include now famous Robert Doisneau, Arman, Tinguely, Vasarely, etc.Ann Hindry, curator of the prominent Renault collection talks about the unique approach of Renault’s patronage, the challenges to which it confronted and its continuation today, with regards to the specific conditions of corporate patronage in France.
